A Poem for All

Never a day without confusion
Doom and gloom all my life
Worrying and fretting with great passion
People coming and going out of my life
Without ever knowing my depth of feeling
Such pain and great despair they cannot care
My life is but a shining light that blinds reality out
Even when my mind is roaming for a better life
My stagnation is all consuming

Never a lonely night when I am not yearning
For a life that has some meaning
But in my strife I have an urging to carry on
For I have tasted life’s wonders
And in my heart I have such passion
A zest for life that’s all consuming
And when I look at the stars at night
I see my reflection
A vast emptiness
But so full of life’s meaning
Just waiting for me
To
Explore
The Wonders of life

Life is what we make of it
Not how we perceive it in moments of darkness
Life is so wondrous not to explore it
Life itself is true contentment
